Syria, Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83

“I’ve been covering conflict for twelve years; I’ve never experienced anything like Syria.”

8/29/16 – “The apocalyptic landscape had become a moonscape. There was nothing but dust, rubble, gray…entire city blocks razed to the ground.” This is an excellent post by LA Marzulli, an author and researcher for whom I have a great amount of respect. Please read this short post and watch the brief video for an important update on the status of Syria from a biblical point of view.

He writes:

I’ve covered this story numerous times. I’ve written about it, and discussed it at prophecy conferences for the last eight years. Yet, the church at large ignores it.

Thus, like the Jews thousands of years ago, not knowing the time of their deliverance, the entrance of Messiah into Jerusalem—Behold your king is coming to you lowly and riding on a donkey—much of the church is missing the prophetic implications of what is going on in the Middle East.

I would posit that the conflict in the Middle East is the ramping up to WWIII.

We have the Russians and the Iranians backing the defunct Syrian president, Bashar al Assad. This unholy alliance has also given the Iranians the coveted S300 anti missile system. The Iranians and their proxy army in Lebanon now boast well over 100,000 missiles, all of which have one purpose, to wipe Israel off the map.

The Iranians are also playing a cat-and-mouse game in the Strait of Hormuz, which is the narrow water-way, in which a good percentage of the world’s oil travels through.

Just last week there was another “encounter” as Iranian ships taunted US ships, in Hormuz, by sailing to close to them. This action resulted in warning shots being fired at the Iranian vessels. https://www.veooz.com/news/dLRuMqy.html

There is one point in the video (above) where a CNN correspondent describes what she has seen in the Syrian city of Allepo. It has, for all purposes been reduced to ruble. There is also footage showing the destruction of the suburbs around the city of Damascus.

There are some who would state that the prophecy concerning the destruction of Damascus has already been fulfilled. OK, so let’s put that aside for a moment and look at what is transpiring in the Middle East.

Israel is back in her ancient homeland. This alone should tell us the lateness of the hour, as the church age is coming to a close and I would posit soon, perhaps sooner than any of us think. God will once again turn His attention to His chosen people, the Jews and Israel.
The Ezekiel 38 scenario is shaping up as Russia and Turkey along with Iran have now coalesced. (The video informs us of this) One thing is clear from this alliance. All parties have it in for Israel. The Iranians continue their saber-rattling calling for the destruction of the Jewish state and Turkey is now against her. Israel is now surrounded on all sides by those who pose an existential threat to her. Hezbollah has thousands of rockets aimed at Israel. HAMAS, continues to build tunnels and engage in terrorist acts. ISIS boasts of conquering Jerusalem. The Moslem Brotherhood states Jerusalem will be the capital of the United Arab States. The Iranians call for the destruction of all of Israel. Houston we have a really big problem…

In closing today’s post: As a Watchman I continue to monitor events that reflect the Biblical Prophetic Narrative. It’s important for us to understand that the Psalm 83 war, that my friend and colleague Bill Salus writes about, may happen at any time. This war may actually lead to the Ezekiel 38 war, which may, in fact, be a retaliation to the Israeli’s expanding their borders.

The prophecies written in our Bibles is true and as I have stated many times and do so again: What was written will come to pass. What was foretold will unfold.
